Last week was a moment that all makeup lovers in Malaysia have been waiting for because Sephora was having a private sale from 4th to 7th May. This VIP sale was only for Sephora black card and gold card members where they could enjoy special offers of 20% off on all items in Sephora stores or websites. I am so glad with the existence of Sephora in Malaysia. It has been a paradise for every person who is into branded makeup and beauty products and the fact that joiningย a Sephora member has a good benefit to let you save big money when you are shopping in Sephora. If you love shopping for branded makeup and beauty products in Sephora, I absolutely recommend to apply for member and you can access to their private events and private sales that will be held a few times each year, collect points to enjoy 10% discount and get your birthday gifts. What a great deal right?
Same like other makeup lovers, I had been waiting for the day when the private sale started because I wanted to use this great opportunity to fill up my makeup bag with my favourite branded makeup products which I had been craving for.
What I bought during Sephora Sale:
1. Beauty Blender (Rm 99 / $20)
This beauty blender has been lingering in my mind for quite a long time. I have tried to avoid it because I always thought it is so expensive and not worth the money. Who the hell is going to buy a makeup sponge for Rm 99 ($20) while you can get it for less than Rm 10 ($3). Even when I showed the price to my boyfriend, he thought the price was ridiculous. Well, the fact that it is just unavoidable and it is mine now.
2. Sephora Daily Brush Cleaner (Rm 36 / $ 8.50)
Recently I have been attending makeup courses and I have learnt the right way to clean my makeup brush properly so since I have few items I was about to buy in Sephora, this brush cleaner just easily appeared on my shopping list.
3. NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream (Rm 33 / $ 6)
A week before, the private sales held, I have been noticing this NYX matte lip cream. I did some research and found out a lot of beauty bloggers and YouTubers talked about how great the lip cream was, and it made me want to have one for myself too.
After long consideration I made my mind up by choosing 2 colours that I love the most (Tokyo and Istanbul) and I so am obsessed with it now.
4. Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Lipstic (Rm 90 / $21)
Actually I did not plan to buy the Too Faced Matte lipstick but it grabbed my attention when I tried this lipstick. It does leave an ultra-matte finish effect on my lips and it is also long lasting. I chose Feelin’ Myself lipstick – soft peachy pink matte because I love the colour and my boyfriend said the colour looked really nice on me.
5. ย Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation (Rm 200 / $ 43)
This Ultra HD Foundation has been in my list for a very long time but I was not sure to get it since I owned Dior Nude Skin-Glowing Foundation and I like it, however, when the beauty assistant lady tried this foundation to one of their customer’s faces, I could see how well this foundation turned her face to be flawless and that moment just took my doubt away.

So that was what I bought during the Sephora sale last week. The quantity was little but the price was not lol. I cannot wait to mix and match it on my face and share my look to you. Stay tuned on my YouTube and social media.
