I know this was a super duper late post but I still wanna share my this Christmas story because it was really special to me. It was my first time to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year together with my boyfriend. Staying in Kuala Lumpur could not really get the feeling of Christmas so I decided to bring my boyfriend to a place that filled with Christmas atmosphere, which was Berjaya hills, Bukit Tinggi. Christmas at Berjaya Hills

Berjaya hills, also known as French Village is surrounded by colourful European design architectures that give us the feeling that we are not in Asia but in European village instead. That was one of the reasons why I chose that place to celebrate our Christmas.

The French-Theme resort, Colmar Tropicale

Me and my boyfriend went to Berjaya Hills by shuttle transfer service. We took the shuttle at 12 pm from Times Square but it did not leave untill 12.40 pm because the van was arriving late due to traffic jam.

We stayed in the French-themed resort, Colmar Tropicale for a night. The room was around Rm 500++ per night because the price was included 2 people breakfast and tickets for Christmas eve gala dinner. Similar to New Year Eve Gala dinner in Krabi, this Christmas eve gala dinner was compulsory so you had to pay for that as well if you wanted to book for the room. Since the gala dinner started at 8 pm, we still had few hours to exploring this place. During Christmas time, The Colmar Tropicale surrounding was full of Christmas decoration and there was one gigantic Christmas tree in the middle of the road which was the popular spot for taking pictures. Make sure to check out the surrounding during the night because it was just so beautiful to see all the light on the street.

Christmas Eve Gala Dinner at Berjaya Hills

I was so excited when I knew that the gala dinner theme was Fairy Tale White Christmas. When I heard fairytale, I imagined Disney. It turned out that I was right about that. There were two Disney live musical performances at that night, cool dance performance and also some games and lucky draw. It was so entertaining and I really enjoyed their performance.

Sadly, we were not lucky enough to win the lucky draw but I won for the best dressed female attendees for the night. Thanks for my boyfriend and a lot anonymous supports. It indeed made my night!

It was really wonderful night with awesome performances, games and scrumptious international Christmas theme buffet. The food was so good with variety kind of choices and it also served traditional Christmas foods like Christmas pudding, turkey, cranberry sauce, etc.

At the end of the night, we all were going to stage to count down and dance together. It was just so fun and glad to see everyone was so happy. What an awesome Christmas night!

My Thoughts

If you are coming to Malaysia and do not have any plan yet for Christmas, I totally recommend to visit Berjaya Hills, Bukit Tinggi. The place is beautiful especially at night time and the gala dinner celebration was really fun. Hope you get to win the lucky draw if you attend the dinner.
