Missing my old cat has brought me to my recent visit to a cat cafe. It is hard to get some company to go to a cat cafe because most of my friends are not into cats, some of them are even afraid of those cute creatures but luckily my boyfriend is a cat lover so I was pretty lucky to find someone who has the same interests as me.
There are not many cat cafes in Malaysia. Since, I am staying in Kuala Lumpur, it makes more sense to visit the cat cafe nearby. But since I went to a cat cafe in Kuala Lumpur before, Purradise Cat Cafe, I thought it was better to visit somewhere that I have never been before. I found another cat cafe at Subang Jaya around 30 – 40 minutes from Kuala Lumpur. The name is Kopicat Cafe.

Cat Cafe Malaysia : Kopicat Cafe a.k.a Coffee Cottage
Kopicat Cafe is the new name of the cafe. Previously the cafe was named as Coffee Cottage. I kinda like the new name as it is unique. The location of the cafe can be accessed with the public transport. It was just 10 – 15 minutes walking distance from Subang Jaya LRT or KTM. Make sure to use google maps so you do not get lost.
Upon the arrival, you are required to order a drink first before entering the cat room. They have a separation between the cats and dining room so you can have a chat with your friend while enjoying the drink or food before playing with your furry mate.
We had Nuttellate and French Vanilla Latte and I do recommend to try both of the drinks because they tasted really delicious.
P.S : If you are student, do not forget to bring student card and you can enjoy 20% discount from Monday to Thursday 🙂
The cat room in Kopicat is not as big as Purradise and you can also find more cats at Purradise Cat Cafe compared to here but personally I like spending time at Kopicat more than Purradise because the cats at Kopicat are more friendly. They like to seek for human attention and they are just lovable. Moreover, there is no time limit playing with the cats at this cafe, so you can play till you are satisfied.
My Favorite cat at Kopicat was Nikita. She loved getting attention from me and sitting on my lap. She was just so adorable.
My Thought
Overall, if you are a cat lover (like me), I highly recommend this place for you. If you are bored and do not have any plans, go visit and play with them because those little cutie furry friends will certainly make your day.
